DISTRICT VOLUNTEERS:  We are still looking for one or two more volunteers to help in the districts.  As well as distributing regular information from the Church (about 3 or 4 per year) the main function is to keep in touch with members and adherents in the district – listening to them, identifying any pastoral needs and conveying information to the pastoral team.  If you would like to volunteer to do this, please contact me by email This email address is being protected from spambots. PRAYING FOR THE LEADERS IN OUR CHURCH: Peter encouraged the elders (leaders) to be “shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them - not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be . . .”  We have a variety of willing leaders in our church community and we can support them by praying for them.  Some of us gather to do that each Wednesday morning, in the Stables at Belhaven at 9:00.  Please consider joining us - you could come once in a while or come frequently.  For more information, ask Alison Murray 07823469472 or This email address is being protected from spambots. FILMING OF SUNDAY SERVICES: A number of people have expressed interest in the Sunday services being filmed on an ongoing basis – mainly those not currently able to get to attend the In-person services.  We have trialled filming with a camcorder with the recording then uploaded to the website and Facebook page later on the Sunday.  However, we now need to look more closely at the most appropriate system for doing this for the future, bearing in mind both cost and the need for people to operate it.  We are therefore seeking volunteers; first to form a small group to consider these issues and propose a way forward and; second to join a rota to operate any new system.  If you are interested to be involved with this – either or both - please contact me on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or on 863161.  Grateful for responses by close Sunday 8 August. Please consider carefully whether you might be able to help with this; undoubtedly this is a service likely to benefit a number of our people unable to get to Church – and maybe a wider grouping also!
