When the walking wounded of our world come to church for a service, they don't want to play theological games, and they don't want some superficial analysis of the latest political issue. They need something far more far-reaching and profound.

 

They need, these heroes and heroines of living, they need a word of comfort. They need to widen their perspective, and put their life where it belongs, in the setting of the power and majesty and love of God.
